Questions shoppers ask
Does PriceTrim sell anything?
No. PriceTrim points you to deals at other stores. Orders, shipping, returns and warranties are handled by the store you buy from.
How does PriceTrim make money?
Some store links are affiliate links: if you buy through one, the store may pay PriceTrim a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links are marked. Stores can also pay for sponsored placements, which are always labeled and kept out of the voted lists.
Can a store pay to rank higher?
No. Hot, Trending and every voted list are ordered by member votes. A sponsored placement appears in its own labeled row and never adds a vote, removes a deal or hides a comment.
Who can post a deal?
Anyone with a free account. A new member’s first few posts are reviewed by a person before they appear, which keeps spam out without slowing everyone else down.
Why did a price change?
Stores change prices and end sales without notice. Always check the final price at checkout, and read the comments — another shopper has often spotted the change.
